| ---- Not many days left to Christmas and as a special treat
we bring you some short wildlife films from Australia and also a sound file
recorded in the Blue Mountains. These can be found in the trial
multimedia zone by clicking here. We have
also converted some of the Winter Wonderland photos into wallpaper size for
your PC desktop this Christmas [Winter Wallpaper]. This
is the last update for 2002. Keep coming back as we will be bringing you more

| December 1st 2002 |
| ---- Well winter has arrived and christmas is just round
the corner. To get you feeling seasonal, we bring you some photos from a
snow covered York taken
on the 23rd of December 2001. We came very close to a White Christmas with or
first winter snowfall. (To make it an offical White Christmas it needs to snow
on Christmas day on the weather centre in Leeds). But the snow was still on the
ground on Christmas Eve so it was just as good. The
Lauter UK Christmas message to all our

| ---- At last the photos from our recent Australia tour are
starting to appear. New Photos of
Sydney Australia have
been added to our Photo Gallery. As there will be lot of new Australian Photos
to be added we have also started to revamp that area of our site. Hopefully

| ---- The information Zone has been updated and now feature
maps and background information on the UK, Exmoor and the Cotswolds. We also
bring you some beautiful sunset photos from Weston-Super-Mare England. |

| ---- We continue with our photos of Exmoor. This time
taking a tour around Dunster and also looking at the fast flowing rivers that
spread out over this land. |

| --- The Moors of Exmoor photos added. We take a look around
the high moor country in Autumn. |

| --- First photos of Exmoor finally make there appearance.
We take a look at some
Exmoor Cottages. Photos showing the landscapes in Exmoor will appear within
the next few weeks. We have also improved the navigation in the Information
Zone and have started improving the navigation in the Photo Gallery. By the end
of this process we will have the new look and feel through out the entire site.
We have updated the home page to make it more easier to use and say a sad
goodbye to the Shopping Zone. |

| --- We have caught up with some requests for wallpaper. If
you have requested Windows Wallpaper recently you should now find it in the

| ---- At long last the photos from the Cotswolds are now
available in the Photo Gallery. Over the next few months we will also start to
bring you some Autumn pictures from the Exmoor National Park. If you are
wondering why this site has been a bit quiet recently we can now let you know
we have been spending a lot of time over winter re-writing the Bank Account
Tracking program which is currently undergoing final beta testing. Keep an eye
on our sister site www.silverriversoftware.co.uk
for release details which will be announced once the Beta testing is complete.

| ----- More Australian photos are now available in the Photo
Gallery, we follow the Princes Highway from Melbourne to Sydney. We thought we
had lost the photos, so we wasted no time getting them up on our website when
we found them. The Whats New section has been given the new, hopefully easier
to navigate look. We had a few concerns over one of the banner adverts that
they were displaying on our site using the banner exchange system. We have
spoken to the banner exchange company and the advert has been removed. We keep
regular checks on banners and links displayed on our site. If you are unhappy

first page of the site and the launch of our mailing list, for people to
subscribe to if you want to be kept up to date with latest changes on this
site. We have also given the main Gallery Index a facelift and got it ready for

----- Happy New Year to all our visitors.
In 2002 we
will be bringing you more nature and wildlife photos. We also will be having an
in depth look at Exmoor, a national park in the south west of England with
pictures, background information, screen savers and possibly some video
footage, so keep checking back with this site.
We have made a few changes
to some of the technical aspects of the site. We have been experiencing
problems with the web-ring services that we use, but this should be sorting
itself out shortly. Our Affiliates surfsafely.com have upgraded their search
engines and you can now access the new service from our links section. We look
