| ---- This month we continue our tour of Australia with a
very brief trip into South Australia. We zoom down the Sturt Highway, say
good-bye to the Murray River which we followed from its source and head south
through the Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills and into Adelaide with this double
update to the Photo Gallery. Unfortunately the weather for this part of the
trip let us down. Enjoy the Photos
here. Christmas is fast approaching so our Christmas pages will be
appearing soon. We are also working hard on a new section called the Aussie
Zone which is designed to help you enjoy the culture of Australia without
having to leave the UK. Watch this space for its launch. Next month we are
hoping to feature the Great Ocean Road, Victoria. |

| October 18th 2003 |
| ---- After a long summer break we are back. This month in
the Photo Gallery we continue following the
Murray River along
the Northern Border of Victoria. We also take a trip in land to look at the
Mallee Scrub. We must apologize to the people of Echuca, you have a lovely
town. Unfortunately we enjoyed the sights and sounds so much we forgot to take
any photos! But we did take some video and we hope to get this up into our
Download Zone soon. The North of Victoria features some beautiful landscapes
and as we headed from east to west we were amazed at how of often the landscape
totally changed. We will certainly revisit. Other News: With Christmas fast
approaching we have teamed up with CafePress to produce our favorite snow scene
as a Christmas card for you to send to your friends this year. Next month in
the Photo Gallery we head on into South Australia. |

| July 12th 2003 |
| ---- This month we continue our Australia tour. We bring
you more photos of the Snowy Mountains as we follow the Alpine way before we
reach the New South Wales / Victoria border where we say good-bye to New South
Wales for the rest of this tour. So take another look at our
New South Wales Photos. We
have updated the wallpaper available for
Sydney so
there are lots of nice pictures there for your desktop. We have started work
preparing the Victoria area of
the website for more photos as our tour will soon enter that State. Some people
may notice that our visitor counter has dropped from 3481 to 1184. This is due
to us trailing a different counter since the start of this year. This new
counter has now replaced the old one we used to use, causing the drop in
count. |

| June 20th 2003 |
| ---- We will not be any photos for June. It has come to our
attention that this website does not display properly in Internet Explorer 6.
We design the website using code that is as close to the HTML 4. standard as
possible and test it on the following browsers: Internet Explorer 5, Opera 7,
Mozilla 5 and Netscape Navigator. We do this to make sure that as many people
can view the site as possible. As all pages had been tested with Internet
Explorer 5, it was a real surprise when we updated one of our computers to
Internet Explorer 6 and discovered all the page designs became messed up. We
have had to edit all pages on this site and test them against all the
previously listed browsers. We will be updating the website with all these
changes over the next weeks. We apologies to users of Internet Explorer 6 who
have visited the site and had to put up with the page problems. People using
Opera, Mozilla, Netscape Navigator or Internet Explorer version 5 or below will
not be affected by this error or notice anything different during these
updates. |

| ----- We return to our Australian tour with lots of new
photos and some stunning scenery this month. We leave the City of Canberra
behind us and head south to Cooma and then west to
Jindabyne, the
entrance to the Snowy Mountains. We arrive on a stormy evening as we are still
in early spring for these mountains. We then cross the Snowy River and take the
winding Alpine Way
through the Snowy Mountains and Kosciuszko National Park. This is where the
source of the great Murray River can be found. The river that we will follow
all the way to Adelaide in the distant west as this tour continues. Our main
memories of this part of our tour is the beautiful scenery and the friendly
people that inhabit it. |

| April, 13th 2003 |
| ----- We take a break from the Australia tour to give a
much needed update to the Nature
Section of the Photo Gallery. It hadn't been updated for two years so we
have completely redesigned that area. The Nature area of the Photo Gallery
brings together our favorite plant and wildlife photos from the rest of the
Photo Gallery as well as having some of its own new exclusive photos. So if you
like trees, swans, zebras or wallabies there is something for you in the
Nature Section. One problem we have
faced is the correct naming of some of the plants/animals we have photographed.
If you see a picture entitled '?????', it means that we are not sure of the
name. If you can identify it please let us know be filling in the
'help us' form. This section
also is the first to display digital photos. Yep we have taken the plunge and
decided that digital cameras can now give as good a quality as standard film
cameras. This digital pictures come in 800x600 format ideal for conversion to
wallpaper. As always let us know what you think |

| ----- In the Photo Gallery we head inland and into the Blue
Mountains. The scenery is breathtaking, we just hope
our photos do the mountains
justice. [On a side note; we send out our thoughts and best wishes to the
people living in this area which is currently struggling against terrible bush
fires.] Don't forget if you would like one of our photos converted to a screen
ratio suitable for wallpaper just send in a
request. |

Photos of Sydney. Now two pages covering the parks, harbour and city sites.
Check out these Photos in our Photo Gallery.
Some multimedia files are now in the Download Zone, you can listen to the
sounds of the Blue Mountains and watch some short Video clips of the wildlife.
More will follow. The screensavers in the Download zone have been put in the
care of Silver River Software who will continue to provide them free of charge
and are even promising more screensavers based on our photos in the next few
months. For our next photo set (due in February) we will be saying a sad
farewell to Sydney and head in land to discover some more of New South Wales.
Keeping checking back and we hope you enjoy our photos |

| January 5th, 2003 |
----- Happy New Year to all our visitors. In 2003 we
will be taking you on a photographic journey through the south east corner of
Australia. In November last year we added more photos from Sydney and this year
we will bring you some more from Sydney and its Harbour. We will then head
inland and look at the Blue Mountains, Canberra and the Snowy Mountains. As
well as landscapes and cityscapes we will be bringing you photos of some of
Australia's plants and wildlife.
We will also be making some movies
(mpegs) and sound files to give you a real feel of Australia. Our first
attempts at this can be found in the Download
Zone
So it will be another busy year on this site. Don't forget to
leave your messages in our Guest Book or you can
email our webmaster direct. We always look forward to receiving your
comments
Have a peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year
