BECOMES
HMV Australia has been taken over by Brazin Entertainment Pty
Limited who run the Sanity.com.au website. The merged company will continue
trading under the SANITY name from the 10th of October 2006. Over the next few
weeks we will be updating this website, removing links and advertisements to
HMV Australia and replacing them with links to the new SANITY websites. SANITY
assure us that they will continue to provide the same level of customer service
that was received by customers of HMV Australia. From the 10th of October the

| Our last photos from our Australian Tour, we cover the East
Coast of Tasmania with a mixture of traditional film and digital photos. We
head over the convict built Spiky Bridge then on to look at the Freycinet and
the Hazards. We also visit the town of Bicheno, Its such a nice place we nearly
decide to stay there for good! To do Bicheno justice we produced our first
super-panoramic photo in an attempt to do the town justice. So check out the
East Coast of Tasmania
in our Photo Gallery. So we now say goodbye to Australia for the time
being, but we are intending to do another photography tour "downunder" in 2006.
So whats next? In the next update we will be having a closer look at southern
Spain. Enjoy. |

| We have a great update for you this month in the Photo
Gallery. We head into the western wilderness of Tasmania to take photos of an
area seldom visited by tourists. So have a look at the first part of our
Western Tasmania
adventure. We hope you will like it. Also to meet a request we bring you
some wallpaper featuring the
Canberra Skyline at
sunset. Enjoy. |

| June 6th 2004 |
| Tasmanian
Section redesign complete, and ready for lots more photos. We start off by
adding to theWynyard
Photos with a walk along the Inglis River, which must be one of the most
picturesque river walks in Tasmania, and then on to Table Cape to look at its
world famous tulips. Did you know Table Cape exports its Tulips to Holland?
That's how good they are! So enjoy the pictures. On a Technical note: Most
browsers reduce the size of images so that they fit on the screen, usually
using a really poor quality size reducer. This detracts from the quality of
photo we try to bring you. To get around this, we have updated the entire
Australia Photo Gallery Section so that it uses a new photo viewer page,
allowing your computer to display our photos at the size and quality we
originally intended. Enjoy!! |

| June 5th 2004 |
| You may have noticed that we have been a bit short on
updates in the last few months. We have been busy behind the scenes. The
Tasmania area of the Photo Gallery has been redesigned ready for us to add lots
more photos and the area also has been updated to use the same navigation as
the rest of the site. The web server is being updated with all the changes
today, to please bear with us if you get a few broken links whilst browsing
this area. We have also updated the Aussie Zone with new TV schedule
information. On the Australian TV front, there are rumours of a launch of a new
channel in December showing lots of Australian content. The channel is expected
to be called 'Australia Gold'. We will let you know more as we hear it. Even
more Aussie TV news, Hallmark Channel have informed us that they will be
showing the next series of Mcleods Daughters in October 2004. |

More of a housekeeping announcement than an update - One of
our affiliates that provides products related to some of the areas we cover has
changed its name. Blackstar.co.uk that we recommend for UK video and DVD
purchases has changed its name to sendit.com. The quality of service remains
the same just the logo has changed. They also include free postage and packing
to UK addresses. Every purchase you make from
sendit.com
(or Amazon or HMV Australia) will continue to help support this site, just
click on their adverts/links on this site and shop away!. We have used all
these three suppliers ourselves and are happy to continue to recommend all of
them for good service |

| March 27th, 2004 |
| ---- This month we take a break from Australia and head to
Spain to bring you the Easter Celebrations from
Nerja. Nerja is a small town on the south coast of Spain about 1 & 1/2
hours drive from Malaga. We hope you enjoy the photos. When you look at the
photos you will notice we have also updated the way pictures are viewed. We
used to leave it up to the browsers, but now most modern browser shrink the
picture to fit the size the browser wants. The Compression methods are poor
making our pictures look bad. So with this months photos we use a new viewing
method that stops the photos being shrunk. Providing no problems are
experienced we will be updating the rest of the Gallery to use this new
method. |

----- A late Happy New Year to all our visitors. We
have had a very busy end of 2003 and start to 2004 which means this website
hasn't been updated until today. Oh well better late than never! In 2004 we
will be continuing our photographic journey through the south east corner of
Australia. Today, our Gallery update takes you to the
Great Ocean Road and the
Otway National Park to see some spectacular coastline. We also start the
New Year with a new camera. We have started a transition to Digital Photography
with a Nikon CoolPix 4500. Its first few photos can be seen in the Great Ocean
Road Gallery Section. We would also like your opinion. We have always kept a
close eye on the file size of our images to ensure reasonable download times.
It has always been a balance between speed versus quality. So we now want your
view would you like larger higher quality pictures or would you like us to keep
the sizes as they are for quick downloads. Please let us know by answering our
poll in the Photo Gallery
Section.
This year we will continue our tour of Australia with an
in-depth look at Tasmania. We are also hoping to bring you photos of the Easter
celebrations from Spain plus some winter pictures from the UK. We haven't
forgotten about our multimedia content and will be bring you more sound and
video this year.
So it will be another busy year on this site. Don't
forget to leave your messages in our Guest Book or
you can email our webmaster direct. We always look forward to receiving your
comments
Have a peaceful, healthy and prosperous New Year
